2014 STATE RUNNER-UP!

The 2014 Rebel baseball team capped off an excellent season with a Division 2-A State Runner-Up finish. The Rebels knocked perennial powers Knoxville Webb and Battle Ground Academy out of the tournament. The Rebels finished 34-8.

Major League Baseball Signees

2015 - David Owen drafted by San Francisco Giants

2012 graduate David Owen was selected on June 10th in the 19th round of the Major League Baseball Draft by the San Francisco Giants. David donated a signed number 19 jersey to the school to commemorate the event.

2015 - Gil Erwin signs with Christian Brothers University

Senior Gil Erwin signed a National Letter of Intent on Monday to continue his education and baseball career with Christian Brothers University. Gil is the son of Paul "Skip" and Kendy Erwin. During his career, he recorded the second most victories for a starter in program history behind current Memphis Tiger Connor Alexander. Gil is in the top three in most major pitching categories in the TRA record book along side Alexander and David Owen. He makes the 19th signing in the last 8 years for TRA Baseball.

2014 - Connor Alexander signs with The University of Memphis

Senior Connor Alexander signed with the University of Memphis to pitch for the Tigers next season. Pictured with Connor are his father Cal, his mother Kim, TRA head coach Brad Smith, his brother Cale, and his sister Kallie.

2014 - Blain Curtis signs with Christian Brothers University

Senior Blain Curtis will continue his baseball playing career next season at Christian Brothers University after signing a National Letter of Intent. Pictured with Blain are his mother Ashley and his father Sean.

2014 - Jacob LaFosse signs with Southwest Tennessee CC

Senior Jacob LaFosse signed a National Letter of Intent to continue his baseball career at Southwest Tennessee Community College in Memphis.

2014 - Xen Penny signs to play baseball at Hesston College

Senior Xen Penny signed a national letter of intent to continue his baseball career at Hesston College in Kansas. Hesston finished the 2013 season 26-18 and won the NJCAA Region VI Championship.

2013 - Jacob Johnson Signs with Southwest Tennessee Community College

On June 3, 2013, Jacob Johnson made TRA history as the first Rebel to sign at USA Stadium, inking his letter of intent to play baseball for Southwest Tennessee and Head Coach George Sykes. Johnson earned the scholarship and All-Star selection with a 7-2 record this year. He also was featured in the TRA outfield helping Brad Smith's Rebels finish in second place during the regular season in league play.

2013 - Brandon Mitson Signs with Southwest Tennessee Community College

Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebel Brandon Mitson made it official that he will play college baseball at Southwest Tennessee by signing his letter of intent. Under Head Coach Brad Smith, Mitson had a monster senior season with 7 home runs. The graduated Rebel also hit .403 with 12 doubles and 42 RBIs. With 31 hits on the season, Mitson had a slugging percentage of .857.

2012 - Jordan Wilson Signs With Christian Brothers University

TRA Senior Jordan Wilson signed a letter of intent to play baseball next year at Christian Brothers University. Pictured at the signing are (seated) Stan Wilson, Jordan, Brenda Wison (standing) TRA Head Baseball Coach Brad Smith and TRA Assistant Coach Andrew Womack.

2012 - David Owen Signs with Northwest Mississippi Community College

TRA Senior David Owen signed a letter of intent to play baseball next season at Northwest Mississippi Community College. Owen was joined at the signing by his parents David and Jeanine Owen, TRA coaches Brad Smith and Andrew Womack and the Northwest Mississippi Community College coach.

2012 - Cale Alexander Signs with Christian Brothers University

TRA Senior Cale Alexander signed a letter of intent to play baseball next season at Christian Brothers Univeristy in Memphis. Alexander was joined at the signing by parents Kim and Cale Alexander and coaches Brad Smith and Andrew Womack.
