Fine Arts

Lower School

The Tipton-Rosemark Academy Fine Arts Department encourages every student in our program to fully develop his or her talents to glorify God and to strive for excellence through the arts. Our Fine Arts Program offers vocal, theatrical and visual art opportunities for all students in kindergarten through twelfth grade.

Music

The purpose of music in the elementary is to help students to develop enthusiasm and an appreciation for music. Students explore a variety of different musical genres and perform at various events throughout the school year.

Visual Arts

Elementary students learn about the basic elements of visual art. They experiment with a variety of art tools, materials and processes. Students study works of famous artists to learn about different creative processes. They produce original works of art using a variety of mediums including watercolor, tempera, pastel, charcoal, oil pastels, printmaking and collage.

Theatre

Students at the elementary level can participate in the elementary Christmas Program, Grandparent's Day Program, elementary chapel skits, private acting lessons after school and can audition for some high school theatre productions (according to cast needs).

Instrumental and Voice Lessons

Several TRA faculty members teach private instrumental or voice lessons after school. If you are interested in these lessons, please see Lalania Vaughn for voice lessons, Natalie Morgan for violin lessons, and Justin Cole for guitar lessons.
