The Tipton-Rosemark Academy Fine Arts Department encourages every student in our program to fully develop his or her talents to glorify God and to strive for excellence through the arts. Our Fine Arts Program offers vocal, theatrical and visual art opportunities for all students in kindergarten through twelfth grade.
The Annual TRA Talent Show was held on Saturday, January 17th. The elementary show was at 5pm and the upper school show, which is also a Mid-South Fair Qualifying event, was at 7pm. Congratulations to the contest winners and Mid-South Fair invitees!
BEST OF SHOW was Rachel Thomas, who performed God Bless the Child. She will go on to represent TRA in the Mid-South Talent Fair next fall. 1st runner up - Meghan Gilbreath (Musical Theatre Solo), 2nd runner up - Anna Skidmore (Tap Dance Solo), Third runner up - Shelbi Sellers and Ashley Sweeney (Movie Vocal Duet), Fourth runner up - Lexi Dillard (Contemporary Music Solo), Fifth runner up - Shelbi Sellers and Sarah Lassiter (Vocal and Piano Duet). The following contestants received invitations to perform at the Mid-South Fair: Front Row (L to R) - Georgia Friend, Camdyn McLemore, Bella Conley, Emma Kate Davidson, Gracie Easley, Chloe Crowder, and Porter Wright. The annual TRA Art Show was held in the Performing Arts Center on Saturday, April 25th. The following winners were named "Best of Show": Xantha O'Brien (1st grade), Sophie Roane (5th grade), Sam Hopper (8th grade), and Ashley Smith (12th grade).

TRA FAME (Tipton-Rosemark Accelerating Fine Arts, Modeling Excellece) was established to encourage parents, grandparents, alumni and friends to support the arts. The mission statement of the organization is: recognizing that all Fine Arts are a gift of God's creation, TRA FAME expresses its mission to support the entire TRA Fine Arts Program by creating an arts awareness within the TRA family and surrounding community and seeking additional financial support for the TRA Fine Arts Programs.
Tipton-Rosemark Academy Seniors Rachel Thomas and Shelbi Sellers signed with the University of Memphis and was accepted into the school's Musical Theatre program. The U of M only accepts 10 students per year out of the hundreds of applicants. Sarah Lassiter was accepted into the Piano program, while Michaela Hoover joined the Theatre program.
