Beginning in 2014, TRA is conducting a fundraising campaign to fund the much-needed improvements and expansion of the playground. The images show aerial views of both the playground and the recreation area. The proposed plans for the current playground, behind the elementary building, include adding an entrance plaza, trike track, climbing mound with slide and tunnels, poured-in-place safety surface, an outdoor stage/classroom, musical instruments, free play areas, seating areas, and a shade structure. The existing play structure will remain in this area.
While the revamped playground will greatly benefit the children in lower grades, the property across the drive will be developed into a recreational area designed for elementary students as well as upper school students and adults.
The recreational area will be located adjacent to the current parking lot and will include a safety crosswalk, shaded pavilion, raised garden beds, swings, shaded stage/outdoor classroom, asphalt walking track, sports court, climbing boulders, wood carpet safety surface, play lawn with a backstop, seating areas throughout, and a climbing structure. Both areas include the use of natural materials, such as wood and stone, in addition to pre-fabricated play structures.
The proposed grand opening for the playground and recreational area is August 2016. Construction will begin when the funds have been raised. The campaign includes naming rights, as well as special event fundraising. Please prayerfully consider over the next couple of months how your family can contribute to the campaign.
The TRA Annual Fund is important to the growth of our school. If you would like to give in any way, we would greatly appreciate your support. Please contact Suzanne Davidson in the Advancement Office at 901-829-6536.
Once home to a fan-filled gymnasium, a bustling cafeteria and a theatrical stage, the facility that now houses the Tipton-Rosemark Academy Performing Arts Center & Chapel was completed in the summer of 2012. With a goal of $500,000, the Many Dreams, One Vision capital campaign is still raising the necessary capital to service the bonds that have been issued for this construction. This state-of-the-art facility is used for a wide range of activities benefiting the entire student body and faculty as well as our alumni and surrounding communities.
This project would not have been possible without the continued support of our current stakeholders, alumni and community members. We invite you to be a part of this exciting endeavor through your prayers and contributions.

In November of 2006, the Continuing the Tradition Capital Campaign was launched by the Advancement Office and Board of Directors to raise funds for a new high school building and elementary addition. Over $830,000 was pledged for this 5-year campaign. The high school building was constructed on the old Rebel Field, where TRA had hosted football games since 1970. This 42,000 square foot building contains 12 general classrooms, the 4k-12 grade library, two state-of-the-art science laboratories, a technology center, a college and career center, and a cafeteria/multi-purpose room. The multi-purpose room is named "Legacy Hall" in honor of our TRA grandparents. A donor tree is in the hallway with leaves honoring the grandparent donors and their grandchildren. The expansion to the elementary school added 12,000 more square feet for the Junior and Senior Kindergarten programs and new specialty classrooms for art and Bible. Some middle school building adjustments have also been made to result in more classrooms. A donor sign is located in the TRA connector with the names of all of the wonderful families and friends that helped to make the TRA vision a reality.

The Tradition of Excellence Capital Campaign began in 1998 with more than $550,000 being raised to expand the facilities to include a middle school. Ground breaking for what is now known as Founders Hall Middle School was held in the fall of 1999. Founders Hall contains a modern gymnasium, a technology center, a science lab, a spirit store, and middle school classrooms. A plaque dedicating the building to the founding fathers and those parents and friends committed to establishing and continuing quality education in a Christian environment now hangs in the entry hall.
